Hi there, I’m Derek with American Senior Benefits of Weatherford. I have a lifelong passion for helping others. I started at American Senior Benefits in 2021 shortly after my grandfather passed away, when I saw how poorly his care was due to insurance. After his passing, I decided that no one I worked with would ever have to go through what we did when dealing with insurance.

In 2024, I moved from Omaha, Nebraska, down to Willow Park, Texas, and I have since embraced the community here in Parker County that has been so welcoming. Currently, I reside in Parker County with my wife and 3 children. Along with my family, we also have our fur family. Our horses, Red and Sterling Archer, our dogs, Leonidas, Hercules, Khaleesi, Arrow, and Rosie, our cats, Monkey, Mewtwo, Wednesday, and Flareon, and we have our assortment of goats and chickens.

I like to shoot guns and bows, ride my Harley, and race triathlons. My wife, Alycia, works for an architecture and engineering firm and is a black belt in Taekwondo. My daughter, Athena, is currently working towards her pro card for barrel racing and is a black belt in Taekwondo. My son, Ephraim, is an avid archer and triathlete, and a black belt in Taekwondo. My daughter, Freyja, is still young and figuring out what she is passionate about.
